Daily Morning Prayer with Scriptures: October 26, 2026 (Monday)

Good morning. It is Monday, the start of a new week. Before the emails, meetings, classes or school run begin, give the first few minutes to God. This short prayer takes about three minutes and works wherever you are: the USA, UK, Canada, Nigeria or anywhere else.

Today’s Morning Scriptures

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33, KJV)

“Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” (Psalm 25:4-5, KJV)

“My times are in thy hand.” (Psalm 31:15, KJV)

A Quick Thought

The first thing we reach for in the morning shapes the order of our day. Putting God first, even for a few minutes, sets everything else in its place.

Today’s Morning Prayer

Praise

Lord, thank You for a new week and a new morning. You are my salvation, and I wait on You.

Putting God First

Father, I put You first today, before my phone, my list and my worries. Let Your kingdom come in my work, my home and my choices.

Guidance

Show me Your ways and teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth in every decision this week.

My Time

My times are in Your hands. Teach me to use today wisely and to focus on what matters most.

Release of Tomorrow’s Worries

Help me to take this week one day at a time. Keep me from carrying tomorrow’s burdens into today.

Protection

Cover my family, my home and everyone I love. Keep us safe in all our going out and coming in.

Provision and Favour

Meet my needs this week, and let Your favour go before me at work, at school and at home.

Others

Show me one person I can encourage or serve today, and give me the time to do it.

A Short Declaration to Speak Aloud

I seek first the kingdom of God. My times are in His hands, and He leads me in His truth today.

Closing Prayer

Thank You, Father, for hearing me. I walk into this Monday with God first and a steady heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Morning Action Step

Before you open your messages, pray for two minutes. Then write down the three things that matter most today.
